I help her cook dinner at night
Plus keeping the little ones in sight
You see my mom is different then other
She is a special kind of mother
If I had only one wish it would be
To grow up like her is for me
For keeping people safe is her job
Putting always bad guys who rob
Finding the child who likes to roam
And taking the little one back home
Finding things with very few clues
That’s what she does she paid her dues
MY Mom the cop she is true blue
Although she hardly ever gets a thank you
But I love her so much and dear
I wish I Just could keep her near
